Czech peer reviewed journal MEDIA STUDIES, journal for critical media inquiry, accepts texts in English. The journal figures on the List of Peer-Reviewed Non-Impact Periodicals Published in the Czech Republic. The journal is indexed by EBSCO, C.E.E.O.L and Recensio.net.

Procedure of offering manuscripts and peer review process:
The authors offer their texts to the editorial team in electronic version via e-mail.
The submitted texts and papers should fall within the following sections: research studies, theoretical papers, reviews, research reports and news reports.
If submitted manuscript fulfills formal requirements of scientific paper, it is accepted to a double-blind peer review. The process is anonymous, based on opinion of at least two independent reviewers. The anonymity of authors and reviewers required during the peer review process contributes to cultivation of scientific community and provides high quality of published texts. The verdict on publishing the article is approved by the editorial board which decides on the basis of reviews.
Text sent to the journal may not be submitted simultaneously for publication or evaluation to any other periodical. The editorial team also shall consider as unethical behaviour provided that the author offers the same text to another journal while still being in course of the Media Studies review procedure.
The author will be notified of the review procedure result within three months after submitting the text to the editorial board.
