RESEARCH STUDIES (up to 70,000 characters)
STUDENT PAPERS (papers representing high-quality Bachelor’s, Master’s theses and PhD dissertations, up to 40,000 characters)
INTERVIEW (up to 30,000 characters)
ESSAYS (up to 20,000 characters)
REVIEWS (reviews of current adacemic and professional publications in the field of media studies and journalism studies, 10,000–15,000 characters)
RESEARCH REPORTS (brief summaries of research data without any in-depth theoretical background, 10,000–15,000 characters)
NEWS REPORTS (from conferences, research projects information, etc., 7,000–10,000 characters)

Procedure of offering manuscripts
The authors offer their texts to the editorial team in electronic version via e-mail. The submitted texts and papers should fall within the following sections: research studies (original research, up to 70,000 characters), theoretical papers (up to 70,000 characters), reviews (reviews of current Czech and foreign academic and professional publications (10,000 – 15,000 characters), research reports (brief summaries of research data without any in-depth theoretical background 10,000 – 15,000 characters), news reports (from conferences, research projects information, etc., 7,000 –10,000 characters).
The editorial team shall consider as unethical behaviour provided that the author offers the same text to another magazine while still being in course of the Media Studies review procedure.
The author will be notified of the review procedure result within three months after submitting the text to the editorial board.
