CALL FOR PAPERS
Czech peer reviewed journal MEDIA STUDIES, journal for critical media inquiry, accepts texts in English for the issue Summer 2012. The journal is indexed by EBSCO, C.E.E.O.L and Recensio.net.
Sections:
THEORETICAL PAPERS (up to 70,000 characters)
RESEARCH STUDIES (up to 70,000 characters)
STUDENT PAPERS (papers representing high-quality Bachelor’s, Master’s theses and PhD dissertations, up to 40,000 characters)
INTERVIEW (up to 30,000 characters)
ESSAYS (up to 20,000 characters)
REVIEWS (reviews of current adacemic and professional publications in the field of media studies and journalism studies, 10,000–15,000 characters)
RESEARCH REPORTS (brief summaries of research data without any in-depth theoretical background, 10,000–15,000 characters)
NEWS REPORTS (from conferences, research projects information, etc., 7,000–10,000 characters)
Deadlines:
Deadline for submitting proposals: February 27th
Deadline for submitting texts for peer reviews (papers, studies, essays, research reports): March 19th
Deadline for submitting other texts (interviews, reviews, news reports): April 16th
